Even though he was injured as a foal and more seriously as a 4 year old Simply Javlin qualified for the 5 year old final at the R U A S Balmoral and also for the Young Event Horse Finals where he finished in 2nd place in the Championship. Simply Javlin again qualified in the 6 and 7 year old R U A S Finals at 7. All these achievements throughout the years were with George Newton an Amateur rider. Winning the 1.30m in Antrim, Newry, Lenamore, Millbrook. He was the Northern Indoor Champion. Placed 8th Cavan 1.40m. He also won five classes in 2008 from a small number of outings.
Sire; John Henry ISH Young Irelander Champion, Grade B that proved successful with his progeny in Ireland and abroad. Full brother to the International horses Brook Street Gold ridden to great success by Harvy Smith and Candle King who represented Sweeden, also a full bro to the Champion Canasta. Dam: Cool Chance Cool Chance is also the dam of Simply Charcoal, who finished 6th in the Goresbridge Loose jumping final before being exported to the USA where he has proven to be a successful eventer. Closely related to Simply Cool Northern Indoor Speed Champion and winner of the 2008 Citroen Car.
Progany; Simply Javlin has been based all his life in the far North of Ireland covering a small number of mares at a privately run yard. This will be the first time Javlin will stand at public stud here in the South, will be available by A.I. offering breeders a true Irish sire with beauty, scope, technique and movement.
