1997-1998
Maximum Clearance gained prize money in, no less than fourteen of his 150-1.60m Grand Prix classes. Progeny Maximum Clearance covered a very small number of mares in America, possibly five a season but they were noted. For example from quotes found on the www warmblood forum; “ I felt this was a lovely stallion. The foals I saw of his were wonderful movers, better than the dams and good sized, not TB'dy" “There is also Maximum Clearance, a grand prix jumper, but crossed on Warmbloods he produces fabulous babies with a ton of suspension and movement.” Here is an email reply from Mr. Otto Schalter, Assistant breeding Director in Germany, R.P.S.I. (Rheinland Pfalz - Saar International.) in relation to Maximum Clearance's inspection and his progeny;
"Dear Heather Wright.
We
inspected Maximum Clearance in 1997 and approved him for our warmblood
breeding. Maximum Clearance has been a very successful jumper in the Grand
Prix Class with his previous owner George Tysarczyk and other international
riders. The detailed information you will get from his former owner. The
offspring presented to us in the US
showed a lot of solid bone, and a good conformation. In the three basic gaites
a lot of elasticity and swing. His first offspring in the US, only pure TB's,
shows successful in dressage and jumping.
In 1997 he was graded: Type: 8 / Conformation:
7 / Correctness: 7 / Walk: 8 / Trot: 7 / Canter: 9 / Freejumping: 8 / Overall
and development: 8
I hope I can help you with this explanations.
Feel free to ask if there are further questions.
Best regards
Otto Schalter "
Maximum Clearance has a lot of great racing blood, if this interests you please email me at; info@irelandhorse.com
PEDIGREE This is the 'Equestrian' aspect of his breeding, as apposed to race winners (I did mention the odd steeplechaser too). SIRE;
TURN TO MARS is the sire of the show jumpers ANOTHER BROTHER
(Conformation hunter, including Working Hunter Championships at Heaven Trees,
etc. He later became a member of the Canadian Equestrian Team and was Jumper
Champion at Ottawa), MAXIMUM CLEARANCE (4th $25,000 Pedigree Grand Prix of LA,
etc), and the dam sire of the steeplechase horse DARK DEN (winner of the Orange
County Point-to-Point in 1998), etc. DAM:
GAY FEMME, by Your Alibhai N.B. In America many jumping and style classes are called 'hunter' classes. Not to be confused with our understanding of 'hunter' classes. Progeny (all by Max) The top two pictures were yearlings born in the US. The third picture is a yearling out of a small part bred mare by Glenagyle Rebel (IDr), and the last picture is a colt foal born '06 out of the old warmblood mare 'Weisjh'. His owner John Reid informs us that he is retaining him on as a future stallion.
