'Ard VDL Unlimited' 166 cms Brown b.'2001
More on his pedigree, click on this link; http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ard+vdl+unlimited
We aim to produce Ard VDL Unlimited, starting this 2005 season with the 4 y'old showjumping classes. When he left VDL's yard, they tried him again and said that he was as good as any horse they have, WOW. His pedigree Ard VDL Unlimited is similarly bred to the Champion stallion 'Orame' who was champion if the stallion Selection in Den Bosh at the age of 3. He was also Champion of the Stallion Test . Orame was the first stallion ever to win both. Orame, like Unlimited, is by Indoctro and share the same grandmother 'Aluette'. His sire, Indoctro (picture below) Indoctro continues to prove his lineage's reputation as progenitors of performance horses. His offspring are becoming known for their jumping ability and he is continuously represented at the World Championships for Young Jumping Horses. He has produced the approved sons No Limit and Orame, both Stallion Test Champions, as well as the Dutch Champion Olympia, the Flevo Champion, Ocinthe, and show jumpers Nassau, Nirvana v.d. Z, Nothing to Lose, Meatloaf, VDL Maserati and VDL Martiago. In 1999, Indoctro was also the best performing sire during the Dutch Championship and at the VSN finals, he had the most offspring in jumping, including the champion, Orlando, and third place-winner, Odea. That same year, Maserati won the six-year-old class at La Silla in Monterrey, Mexico. Indoctro's sire, Capitol I, is a Holsteiner foundation sire responsible for horses such as Jos Lansink's Carthago Z and Markus Beerbaum's Charlston as well Calato, Campesino, Carolus I and II, Cassini, Colino and Cento. This paternal line has produced many top horses including Classic Touch and Caretino. Indoctro himself had solid results in top show jumping events including Hamburg, Rastede, N. Hardenberg, Bremen and Munster. He was Champion in the Stallion Test, Champion in the Stallion Competition, the Dutch Champion four-year-old jumper and finished 6th in the World Breeding Championship for Young Jumping Horses as a six-year-old. Indoctro, (Unlimited sire jumping here).
23/1/04 News; Today the ranking list of the 'best jumping horse sires' of Germany was published. Indoctro was highly placed in this ranking. In the ranking of the Holsteiner studbook, Indoctro was the 2nd best producer of jumping horses, close behind Carthago Z. For the whole of Germany, Indoctro was placed 5th in this ranking. With this result; He is the best Dutch stallion in this list. His dam, Evita is a half sister to the dam of Orame, while Orame's dam is by Ramiro Z, Evita's is by Cor de la Bryere. Cor de la Bryere has proven to suit Irish breeding so well through his successful son Cavalier Royale. And this cross with Indoctro gives us three strong lines of Cor de la Bryere through Ard VDL Unlinited's pedigree. More on Eveta when I get it from VDL
